Our basic research projects using human foetal haematopoietic cells aim to dissect dynamics and cellular programmes active during human blood lineage development and to decipher how haematopoietic differentiation pathways are influenced by different microenvironments.

In our translational research projects, we use various state-of-the-art single cell sequencing techniques to analyse cancer patient samples, investigating the influence of the tumour microenvironment in the context of pathological differentiation of immune cells.
