Research Assistant (Making the Museum project)

The Pitt Rivers Museum is seeking a Research Assistant as part of a new AHRC- funded research project ‘Making the Museum: investigating maker/subject identities and agencies at the Pitt Rivers Museum', led by Dr Chris Morton. This exciting part-time role will provide essential logistical, administrative and curatorial support to the project team. You will support the investigative team with the preparation of data, documentation, archival material and artefacts for consultation during the project as well as helping with planning, logistics, and administration of various aspects of the project outputs. The Research Assistant will also help with the organisational and administrative aspects of maker residencies, public engagement activities, project conference, website and social media updates, and other general project support.
