Research Assistant II in the Department of Clinical Oncology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 530242) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification, preferably in Biological Science, with relevant research experience. Background experience in liquid biopsies and translational studies, immunohistochemistry staining, DNA/RNA extraction, RT-qPCR, Western blot, molecular techniques such as cloning and PCR, and cancer studies would be advantageous. Applicants should have a strong sense of responsibility; good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills; and a good command of written and spoken Chinese and English.
The appointee will participate in clinical cancer biomarker studies involving patient recruitment, clinical specimens handling, and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
