The Division of Urology within the Department of Surgery at the School of Clinical Medicine is seeking a dedicated Research Assistant to join their team. This position is available immediately for a one-year term, with the possibility of extension based on performance.
Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Biomedical Sciences, Biostatistics, Clinical Medicine. or a related discipline. Experience in urological oncology, particularly with a focus on prostate cancer, is highly valued. Additionally, candidates with expertise in multi- omics research, including genomics and metabolomics, will be given priority. Proficiency in programming and data analysis tools, such as R language and Python, is required, alongside skills in statistical management software (e.g., Stata, Excel) and data visualization tools (e.g., GraphPad Prism, Adobe Illustrator).
The role demands a high level of responsibility, a strong commitment to academic research, and the ability to work independently. Fluency in both English and is essential.
Responsibilities will include performing statistical analyses, managing databases, contributing to clinical research projects, assisting with experimental research, and handling other related tasks as needed.
