Applications are invited for appointment as Research Assistant II in the Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.:524697) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should have a bachelor / master's degree in biological / medical sciences or a related discipline. They should be self-motivated, eager to learn, responsible, able to work independently and in a team, fluent in written and spoken English and have good communication skills. The appointee will be responsible for assisting with clinic case preparations and liaison with patients in the context of genetic counselling under the supervision of Dr. Brian Chung. Familiarity with or experience in genetics and/or working with patients in the clinical setting would be an advantage. Enquiries about the duties of the post should be sent to Dr. C.
