Research Assistant II in the Department of Clinical Oncology (Ref.:524348) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification, preferably in Biological/Biochemical Science with relative experience in tissue embedding, immunohistochemistry, DNA/RNA extraction, RT-qPCR, Western blot, molecular techniques such as cloning and PCR, tissue culture techniques, and cancer studies would be advantageous.

Applicants should have a strong sense of responsibility; good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills; and a good command of written and spoken Chinese and English.

The appointee will participate in cancer research projects involving animal specimens and perform other general lab duties as assigned by the supervisor.
