Duties: • Organize and lead field collection of soil and vegetation samples/data • Prepare equipment and materials for research • Perform standard laboratory soil and vegetation analysis • Perform data entry, summarizing, and reporting • Organizing and analyzing spatial data • Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications/Experience:

The ideal candidate will have experience in: • Field collection and laboratory preparation and analysis of soil and vegetation samples/data • Travelling and working in rural areas • MS Excel, R, or other suitable software for managing data and data analysis • Organizing and analyzing spatial data (GIS and/or remote sensing)

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: • Enrolled in an undergraduate degree in physical geography, environmental science, biology, or other Earth science disciplines • Canadian drivers license • Current student in the Co-op Program is required
