Research Assistant I in the Department of Pathology, School of Clinical Medicine and the State Key Laboratory of Liver Research (Ref: 526531) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree or above in biological/medical sciences or a related discipline, preferably with at least 1 year's work experience in tertiary institution. They should be hard-working, organized, responsible and self-initiated. They should have good problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team. Experience in molecular/cell biology, including Western blotting, real-time PCR, cloning, flow cytometry, exosome extraction, liquid biopsy sample processing, and tissue culture in relation to cancer research is required. The appointee will participate in research projects on molecular biology of liver cancer in Professor Irene Oi-Lin Ng's laboratory.
