Research Assistant I/II in the Centre for Advancement of Chinese Language Education and Research (CACLER) within the Faculty of Education (Ref.: 531138) (to commence as soon as possible until 31 August 2025, with the possibility of renewal).

Applicants should possess a bachelor's degree in education, psychology, language, or a related discipline. They are expected to have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese (with proficiency in Cantonese) and English. We seek individuals who can take the initiative and have strong interpersonal and organizational abilities. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in educational research. Familiarity in managing social media will be an advantage. Those with extensive work experience may be considered for the position of Research Assistant I.

The selected candidates will be responsible for supporting our project which provides consultancy on Chinese teaching and learning to primary schools and kindergartens. The duties will include administrative tasks, organizing workshops and conferences, and conducting research-related work. Additionally, they will be responsible for maintaining the project website, assisting with report writing, and performing any other assigned duties.
