Research Assistant I/II in Cancer Biology and Immunology in the Department of Pathology and State Key Laboratory of Liver Research (Ref. 528673) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, or on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree or above in cancer biology, molecular biology, immunology or other relevant disciplines, and in-depth experience demonstrated by relevant track record. Experience in cancer research and/or cancer immunology will be an advantage. Preference will be given to those with expertise in animal work. Applicants should also be highly motivated individuals with the ability to work in a team environment and with good oral and written communication skills in English. Candidates who have strong interest in translational research and appreciate the complexity of biological systems are particularly encouraged to apply. The abilities to work independently, participate in highly collaborative projects, and contribute intellectually to research development are requisites for the position. The appointee will work in a multi-disciplinary group and investigate the molecular mechanism of liver cancer using cutting-edge strategies.
