Research Assistant I/II in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 526181) (to commence as soon as possible for one year on temporary terms, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in fields such as computational biology, bioinformatics, bioengineering, statistics, public health, or other related disciplines within computational, life, or medical sciences. They should have excellent written and spoken English proficiency, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong sense of responsibility and keen interest in the research area. Being detail-oriented and able to collaborate within a team are essential qualities. Having experience in seroepidemiology, genomics, and statistical analysis would be advantageous. Quantitative skills and competency in statistical or computer modeling software (e.g., R, Python, C++) are highly preferred.

The appointee will assist in studies investigating the pathogen-host interactions of influenza and SARS-CoV-2. He/she will assist to analyze statistical data and prepare publications and reports. Information about the School can be obtained at https: //
