Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 524071) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Medicine, Biology or other related disciplines, preferably with 3 years' post-qualification research experience. They should have proficiency in written and spoken English, the ability to work independently as well as in a team. Experience in mouse or rat husbandry and surgery is preferred. The appointee will conduct research on mechanisms of biologics in modifying joint disease via various molecular experiments including processing of human clinical samples, cell culture, protein expression and purification, and protein-ligand binding assay (ITC and SPR). A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
