Applications are invited for appointment as Research Assistant I/II (Several Positions) in the Sau Po Centre on Ageing within the Faculty of Social Sciences , to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Social Sciences, Psychology, Statistics, Data Science or a related discipline with at least 1 years' relevant experience in studies for healthcare, technology, gerontology.

The applicants should be self-motivated, willing to learn, able to work independently and in a team, and with a strong sense of responsibility, good communication skills, and good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (fluency in Cantonese is required). Adequate knowledge of quantitative analysis, experience in using statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, Stata), and familiarity with MS Office applications (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) will be an advantage.

The appointee(s) will assist in research and other programme activities of community project(s) for older adults and their caregivers, especially involving big data analytics, development of gerontechnology and intervention protocols, social impact/cost effectiveness analysis, and other duties as assigned.
