Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Microbiology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 524002) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biological Sciences or a related discipline, preferably with experience in Cryo-EM sample preparation and analysis, cell culture, virus culture, molecular cloning, protein expression, western blot assay, ELISA assay, confocal microscope, and mouse animal work. They should have a strong interest in working closely with biologists, and the ability to work independently with high motivation. Those who have an interest in pursuing postgraduate studies are welcome.
The appointee will conduct research on antiviral experiments related to influenza, coronavirus, parainfluenza virus, other respiratory viruses, and drug resistance study under the supervision of Dr. Hanjun Zhao and Prof. Kelvin To.
