Research Assistant I/II (several posts) in Community Child Health in the Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 524340 ) (to commence as soon as possible on a one-year temporary basis or a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in community child health, public health, social sciences, psychology or healthcare-related disciplines. Experience in research projects and medical statistics would be an advantage. They should have a good command of written English and Chinese (including Cantonese); proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; and good problem-solving, communication, organizational and administrative skills. They should be self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team.

The appointees will support the daily operations of a large-scale multidisciplinary project. They will perform fieldwork in different settings; assist in data collection and entry; prepare reports and presentations; provide administrative support; and perform other duties as assigned. Working on evenings and public holidays may be required.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointments on fixed terms will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
