Research Assistant I/II (holding the functional title of Project Coordinator) (several posts) in the School of Nursing (Ref.: 524275) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Nursing, Social Sciences, Psychology, or other healthcare-related disciplines, preferably with experience in counselling. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and good interpersonal and organizational skills. They should also be responsible; highly motivated; and able to work independently and in a team. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

The appointees will assist in multi-centre studies on reducing risk factors for non-communicable disease, such as smoking cessation and lifestyle modification, in both community and clinical settings. Their duties include participant recruitment, instrument development and intervention delivery, and other administrative duties as assigned. On-the-job training related to counselling and research methods, especially on randomised controlled trials, will be provided.
