Research Assistant I/II (holding the functional title of Agroforestry Officer) in the Centre for Civil Society and Governance (Ref.: 526785) (to commence as soon as possible for one year with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agricultural Science, Natural/Biological Science, Social Sciences, Business Management or related discipline with at least 1 year of relevant work experience. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and excellent project management skills. They should be able to work independently and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Preference will be given to those with work and/or research experience in the areas of Sustainable Production and Consumption, Sustainable Agriculture and Food System.

The appointee will be responsible for co-ordinating, promoting, and delivering agricultural revitalization and agroforestry programmes; involved in developing new project themed Sustainable Food System and Agroforestry under the Centre; and other duties as assigned by the Director of the Centre. He/She is required to work outdoor and work on weekends or public holidays occasionally.
