Research Assistant (Green Lab) (Fixed Term)

Applications are invited from experienced Research Assistants to join Professor Green's lab https: // www. stemcells.cam.ac.uk/people/pi/green in the Jeffrey Cheah Biomedical Centre on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus.

The post holder will have an interest in and enthusiasm for understanding haematopoietic stem cells and how they are subverted in blood cancers, particularly human myeloproliferative neoplasms. We have a particular focus on the JAK/STAT signalling pathway.

Applicants should have a Masters degree in biological sciences and experience working in a research laboratory. Experience with molecular biology techniques, tissue culture, flow cytometry, and accurate recording of data are essential. Flexibility, the ability to prioritize, and excellent interpersonal skills are essential. Desirable skills include intracellular flow cytometry and experience using viral vectors to genetically modify primary cells.
