We are looking to recruit a Research Assistant to work at the El-Erian Institute of Behavioural Economics and Public Policy (EEI) based in central Cambridge at the Cambridge Judge Business School. EEI aim to identify new ways to address social challenges and improve lives by leveraging the combined expertise of faculty at Cambridge Judge Business School and researchers across the University of Cambridge. The Institute is led by Professor Lucia Reisch, the El-Erian Professor of Behavioural Economics and Public Policy.
The purpose of this role is to support and maintain the Business School's reputation for excellence in teaching and research and the team are looking for a Research Assistant who would like to support the Institute's research and teaching. You will be expected to work on different teaching and research- related tasks, overseen by Professor Lucia Reisch. Other tasks will consist of doing literature search; supporting data retrieval, cleaning, and analysis of current research projects; preparing teaching material.
You should be of first-degree level however a master's degree is desirable. A background in economics and/or psychology or related disciplines with relevant experience in quantitative research methods and sufficient breadth/depth of knowledge in the discipline and research methods and techniques to work within their own area are essential. Good time management and planning skills with a commitment to delivery and some publication experience (of any kind) are essential. In addition, you should be a self-motivating individual who is driven, committed and able to demonstrate initiative.
