The Chair in International Management is part of the Department of Business Administration (Institut für Betriebswirtschaftslehre) within the Faculty of Business, Economics and Information Technology. The focus of the chair is on strategic management, in particular the challenges that multinational enterprises face related to transformation & renewal, M&A, corporate governance, and other top management topics. Research at the chair draws upon current theoretical perspectives from strategic management and organization theory (in particular behavioral theory of the firm, organizational learning theory, and cognitive theory) and employs quantitative, qualitative, and simulation methods. Research projects typically combine a strong emphasis on theoretical and empirical rigor with practical relevance. The chair provides a highly research-oriented environment focused on creating the platform for an international academic career for its members

Your responsibilities

As a research assistant of the Chair in International Management, you will update our PowerPoint presentations for the courses offered by the Chair. The responsibilities may include developing new slides and graphics to enhance the overall visual quality of the material, updating examples to reflect current industry and market trends, collaborating with the course instructor to ensure that the content meets the course objectives, and proofreading and editing the material for clarity and accuracy.

Your profile
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint and graphic design are required.
  • A basic understanding of strategic management principles and concepts is necessary.
  • Advanced knowledge of the English language (spoken and written) is required.
  • Prior work or research experience in a related field is preferred but not required.
