Recruitment Administrator
Job description
University Corporate Services - HR PS Connect
This part-time post (0.8 FTE) is available from beginning of December on a permanent basis.
This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home. This would, ideally, include the ability to work from campus on Tuesdays and some Wednesdays as a minimum.
As part of this role involves helping to cover our HR reception desk, you will need to be within reach of our campus in Exeter.
The role
Supporting the University in its strategic ambitions, the recruitment team aim to attract the best talent globally ensuring a smooth candidate experience and robust selection process.
Our Recruitment function joined an exciting Shared Service Centre at the University in May 2023, called PS Connect. PS Connect was established as a new, integrated service. It initially brought together teams from HR, Finance and IT to transform and deliver professional services through a 'one-stop shop' with a focus on the user journey to: deliver cross-functional core services and support; ensure better service quality and satisfaction; maximise our use of technology; and provide continuous improvement and streamline processes.
As a recruitment administrator, you will work closely with colleagues across PS Connect and the wider HR team to ensure an excellent customer experience to our candidates and recruiting managers.
You will be involved in managing the recruitment inbox, answering queries and referring others on to the relevant person. You will help manage our pre- employment checking process, manning of the HR Reception, generation of employment contracts and helping the recruitment team with various parts of the recruitment process.
Team working is critical to the way our recruitment team operates. We are collaborative, and respectful and seek to deliver our values on a daily basis. It is a fast paced environment but you will join a team of Recruitment Leads, Coordinators and Administrators who will train and guide you.
You
Strong communication, administration skills and attention to detail are essential for this role. Ideally, you will have experience of working within a fast-paced environment, juggling priorities and working to deadlines.
Please ensure you read the Job Description and Person Specification for full details of this role.
