The Department of Management in the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago invites candidates to apply for a full-time faculty appointment in the Strategy and Business Consulting area beginning in Fall 2023. This position has an initial one-year appointment and renewal is based on teaching needs. Previous teaching experience in Strategy and Business Consulting in a University setting is highly preferred. Evidence of professional leadership and recognition (such as participation and leadership in industry associations, or presentations of research or significant achievements in the field of strategy and business consulting) are highly desired.

The successful candidate will teach Business Consulting and Strategy capstone courses under the mentorship of experienced faculty who oversee the curriculum for this vital course. Additional course assignments could include a variety of Strategy and Consulting courses such as Strategy and Leadership, Business Strategy, Corporate Strategy, and Business Consulting at graduate levels and Strategic Management, International Business, and International Management at undergraduate levels. Administrative responsibilities include participation in faculty discussions to develop and maintain an appropriate curriculum for Strategy and Business Consulting.

In addition to teaching administrative responsibilities, the successful candidate also build relationships with the business community in the Chicago area to create a pipeline of consulting projects used in the Business Consulting courses offered through Loyola's MBA program. This includes sourcing, screening, and on-boarding clients as well as managing the relationships between the clients and instructors to ensure a satisfactory experience for all.

Qualified candidates must demonstrate teaching effectiveness, a strong understanding of and commitment to the mission of the University.
