UCC are looking for an exemplary Quality & Planning Coordinator to join our team in UCC Library. The ideal candidate will be proactive and innovative, maintaining the reputation and standards for which UCC Library is known and recognised. This is an amazing opportunity for the right person to join UCC Library as it embarks on an exciting phase of development underpinned by a Library Vision & Plan.

The Quality & Planning Coordinator will be responsible for leading and coordinating planning, quality, and assurance activities within the library. They will champion a culture of innovation and service improvement, supporting effective business processes across the library.

How will you inspire us?

You will:

• Be able to lead on the effective management of the Quality & Planning function.

• Be a great people person, able to influence and work on a whole library engagement approach.

• Bring a proactive approach to service improvement, using a range of user experience (UX) tools to deliver results.

• Bring strong interpersonal skills, able to foster strong relationships with key internal & external stakeholders.

• Have experience in planning and quality management activities and the use of appropriate tools and methodologies.

• An ability to solve problems and juggle competing demands with a track record of meeting your strategic targets and KPIs in previous roles.

The University's Library is at the heart of the University and plays a pivotal role in supporting the learning and research activities of University College Cork. UCC Library comprises a distinct unit that resides under the Vice- President for Teaching & Learning with the University Librarian reporting directly to the Vice-President for Teaching & Learning.

Appointment may be made on the Admin V (Grade 5) Salary Scales: €47,685 - €58,560 (Scale B) / €45,493 - €55,738 (Scale A)

Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy .
