Overview

This position will work within the Custom Solutions and Integrations team to ensure software product quality in a fast paced, agile environment. Opportunity to work with a great team in a highly professional and fun environment!

The QA engineer would be reporting to the QA lead. The QA department reports to the Director of Custom Solutions and Integrations.

This is a 2-year, FT benefits-eligible term position.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively participate in the user story review process for the purpose of generating functional test cases.
  • Responsible for test planning, documenting test cases, creating and owning reusable test data, developing test case automation, and conducting test execution.
  • Perform both manual and automation testing in alignment with project sprint cycles.
  • Identify, report, track and verify defects. Responsible for reporting test execution results.
  • Monitor, track and communicate defects with the team to ensure their resolution in a timely manner.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing and production releases.
  • Qualifications

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of software testing experience.
  • Functional testing and database testing experience.
  • 2+ years of automation testing experience (Cucumber BDD / selenium / java)
  • Good to have experience in accessibility testing.
  • Strong experience within the Agile methodology.
  • Able to create detailed, comprehensive test case/ scripts/ scenarios based on business requirements/ user stories.
  • Deep understanding of the software development and QA life cycle processes.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Great team player.
  • Quick learner and adaptable to new technologies.
  • Education : Bachelor's degree and/or 3+ years of work experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Jira and other test management tools.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Java, Selenium, JavaScript, Jenkins, Maven, Junit, testNG, SQL, Relational Databases, Oracle, any accessibility testing tools, Web, HTTP, REST, HTML, CSS, JSON, GIT, POSTMAN
