We are seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst III to join the Applications QA Competency group. This position is responsible for design, execution, and leadership for testing application projects to deliver applications and services to the constituents and affiliates of Boston University. Duties include meeting with project sponsors, working with project leaders and architects, project definition, analysis, test planning, test development and execution, metrics reporting, assist with implementation, and support. This person is also expected to share knowledge with senior staff members. As a QA Analyst III, this person is expected to work and enhance testing using automation whenever possible.
The QA Analyst III is an experience quality assurance analyst with experience in understanding comprehensive SDLC processes, developing and documenting traceability matrices to business requirements, and test strategies methodologies for large system wide testing. The scope of testing oversight will include supporting all testing phases including Systems Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression, Performance and Post-Production validation testing. The QA Analyst III is also responsible for the estimation of testing efforts with assistance from functional and architecture subject matter experts. The QA Analyst III reviews and ensures that SIT and UAT test results and defects are documented at the right level of detail in an agreed upon format. This position will lead the triage of defects reported during SIT and UAT phases, with support from Functional Lead(s) and Technical Lead(s).
This is a limited-term position until December 2025.
