The University of Lincoln is the academic partner in a consortium of companies engaged in delivering ‘Project Selborne'. Project Selborne is a wide-scale, 12-year transformation of the Royal Navy's Training System and includes systems, equipment, personnel and qualifications. As part of this, the University of Lincoln will deliver several academic programmes in partnership with Capita Plc, as part of the wider ‘Fisher Training' consortium of partners.

We are looking to appoint a Project Support Officer, based in Lincoln, to provide a key link to central services and academic teams. The role will work very closely with the Senior Project Officer and a counterpart at the Britannia Royal Naval College based in Dartmouth.

We are looking for candidates who are well organised, effective communicators and problem solvers, have excellent prioritising skills, strong numerical skills, and are able to work to deadlines and under pressure.

You will be expected to establish and build relationships with academic and military colleagues at a number of locations. Occasional UK based travel will be required.

Please note that this post requires Security Clearance. Applicants must have at least five years continuous residency in the UK in order to apply for the required Security Clearance.

The post is fixed term for 3 years.
