Position Information

Under the direct supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI) of Project READ-ASD, the duties for the Project READ-ASD Administrator in the School of Education (SOE), include but are not limited to, coordinating and assisting the Project READ-ASD PI in the logistics and various activities of the project, coordination of meetings, purchase and preparation of materials, administration of assessments, substitute tutoring, observations, processing participant and consulting payments, representing Project READ-ASD and UCR SOE at local school meetings and maintaining student and client confidentiality at all times when appropriate.

This is a 50% part-time limited appointment with an anticipated end date of June 30, 2024.

The full salary range for the Project READ-ASD Administrator is $27.29 - $39.12 per hour. However, the expected pay for this position is approximately $27.29 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.

As a condition of employment, you will be required to comply with the University of California SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) Vaccination Program Policy. All Covered Individuals under the policy must provide proof of Full Vaccination or submit a request for Exception (based on Medical Exemption, Disability, and/or Religious Objection) or Deferral (based on pregnancy) no later than the applicable deadline. For new University of California employees, the applicable deadline is ten weeks after their first date of employment.

Five (5) years of related work experience; or Bachelor's degree in a related field with one (1) year of related work experience; or an equivalent combination of college education and experience. Required

Minimum Requirements

Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently under prescribed guidelines and in coordination with others. Attention to detail with materials development and data collection. Must have transportation and willingness to travel to public school sites in the area (mileage reimbursement provided). Experience with Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint or similar applications.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with reading and/or behavior interventions and/or experience working with students with autism is preferable but not required.

Demonstrated understanding of Project READ-ASD and the goals of the project.

Experience with UCR applications for purchasing, travel, and payments.

Demonstrated skill in working with budgets and spreadsheets to track and record expenses related to events and activities and create charts to track deadlines.

Skills in coordinating district professional development activities and materials.

Skill in coordinating professional development activities by determining the time, place and sequence of actions.

Experience in working with schools and other community educational agencies.
