PF&D has a significant portfolio of capital projects that require strategic facilities planning. Projects range in complexity and size and typically involve the planning of Built Form, Urban Design and Public Realm developments.
The Opportunity An opportunity exists for a highly skilled Project Planning Manager to join our PF&D Planning team. Working closely with the Planning Portfolio Managers, you will be responsible for leading the planning of key projects. You will be involved in a diverse range of projects which will vary in size from small fit out projects to large planning-based activities.
This is a great opportunity where you will work with our talented and experienced team who specialise in Architecture, Urban Design, Sustainability, Space Management and Project Management. Your new role The Project Planning Manager has the responsibility to oversee planning projects in accordance with the terms of PF&D's 3D Governance Structure and processes. The role involves a large degree of stakeholder engagement in order to define project scopes, develop programs and budgets, understand and communicate project parameters and limitations, and manage stakeholder expectations. The role requires a high degree of involvement throughout the life of the project ensuring that all stakeholders are kept informed and engaged. The successful respondent will need to have well-developed people skills and be experienced in navigating situations where projects have competing requirements, and managing communications and expectations when project parameters change.
In addition, the role requires that the successful respondent will have the capacity to understand a range of technical matters, particularly in the field of Science and Engineering, and be able to use this to develop scopes of work that will result in a successful built-form project. Experience in Architecture, Design, Project Management, or a related discipline would be highly desirable.
