  • About the Role

    Reporting to the Manager: Graduate Research Development, the Project Officer: Research Development provides high level project, administrative and event support for the Researcher Development project and training functions as part of the Graduate Research Development team within UniSA Research Office.

    The UniSA Research Office provides support for the management of research and administers internal and national competitive research grants and projects. It is also responsible for ensuring the responsible and ethical conduct of research and for developing and implementing strategic initiatives to improve the quality of the experience and outcomes for postgraduate research students.

    Areas of research service activity span research grant development, negotiation and management of research contracts, post award administration and management of research infrastructure, research integrity, research ethics and compliance, and implementing strategic initiatives to improve the quality of researcher training and development to support capacity and capability development in research.

    Essential Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education training
  • Previous experience providing project and high level administrative support within a complex organisation
  • Demonstrated experience in conceptualising, meticulously planning and successfully delivering training programs or promotion events involving a range of participants and stakeholders
  • High level interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build strong and productive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • High level of attention to detail, and an ability to work through large volume of data to provide succinct summary and tailored insights to various audience
