  • Commencement salary: $91,033 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)
  • About You

    You are a highly organised administrator or executive support with experience in managing multiple projects. You will have the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders and external committees such as steering committees and working groups and can manage competing priorities. You will be comfortable managing data of a regulatory or research nature and be able to put into the context of project outcomes.

    About the Role

    Reporting to the Manager: Wirringka Student Services, you will provide a high level of project coordination and support, undertaking research, analysis and report writing to improve student engagement outcomes in line with the University's Reconciliation Action Plan. You will manage multiple projects across campuses with multi-disciplinary teams.

    About the Student Engagement Unit

    The Student Engagement Unit (SEU) is responsible for the strategic development and delivery of student facing services that will enhance the on- campus and off-campus student experience for all students. The SEU also takes strategic steps to inform the quality of the student experience of learning and teaching, support services, the learning environment, and student facilities.

    Essential Skills and Experience

  • Australian Aboriginal ancestry and demonstrated understanding of the issues impacting on the learning of Aboriginal tertiary students and knowledge of and familiarity with Aboriginal communities
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent skills and experience in Business Management/ Project Management
  • Demonstrated research, analytical and writing skills for the gathering and synthesis of literature and data from multiple sources for the provision of high quality evidence based reports and recommendations
  • Demonstrated organisational and time management skills together with resourcefulness and initiative to manage multiple priorities and projects under broad direction
  • Highly developed computer literacy skills and demonstrated experience and understanding of University systems that support a complex business services environment
