  • About This Opportunity

    As the Project Manager – Youth Game Changers, you will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end delivery of the Youth Game Changers Program, and working to ensure the Programs ongoing sustainability.

    Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting project initiation and planning, and contributing to preparation of project briefs to support informed decision making

  • Providing administrative support, including monitoring and reporting on project plans, milestones and deliverables

  • Undertaking research, data analysis and financial planning to create a business case for securing the Program's future

  • Facilitating stakeholder engagement and seeking opportunities to collaborate across groups to support project outcomes

  • About You

    We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with qualifications in Education, and/or Physical Education and Sport with experience in Project Management. In addition, you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Current experience in the Public and/or Private Secondary School education sector

  • Experience in physical education and sport in a teaching and learning environment

  • Demonstrated experience successfully managing medium to large projects, ideally within a large and/or complex organisational context

  • High-level interpersonal skills, including the effective liaison and negotiation skills needed to develop and maintain strong working relationships within a School/Faculty/Institute/Portfolio, and the wider University community

  • Demonstrated high level organisational ability, attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines and manage competing priorities

  • Previous project management experience within a tertiary and/or research institution would be highly valued

  • The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre- employment checks, including: right to work in Australia, criminal check, and education check.
