Join TERN as Project Manager, Strategic Engagement! Work with a team that is passionate about the environment to oversee the design, development and delivery of engagement resources and innovative programs for a stratified stakeholder user group. This role is crucial in maximizing the impact of ecosystem data and products collected, collated, and created by TERN.

About You
You'll be an experienced science communicator with a relevant degree (in environmental science, science communication) with interdisciplinary experience in environmental science and management.
The successful candidate may be required to complete background checks including, criminal history, education checks and may be required to provide evidence of immunisation against certain vaccine preventable diseases.

About TERNTERN is an Australian Government grant-funded research infrastructure initiative operating a network of monitoring sensors, sites and services. National datasets and products related to ecosystem condition and function derived from these contribute to meeting the needs of long-term terrestrial ecosystem researchers, decision-makers and other users in Australia and globally. TERN's grant provides funding until June 2028 with potential for extension.
TERN's vision for 2028 and beyond is to advance ecosystem science and contribute to sustainable management of Australia's environment, particularly with respect to ensuring a net zero future and
protecting Australia's biodiversity.

What We Can Offer
This is a full-time, fixed term position until June 2028 at HEW 8. The full- time equivalent base salary will be in the range $108,975 - $122,176 plus super of up to 17%. The total FTE package will be in the range $127,500– $142,942 per annum.
