Job Description Summary Forsyth County has been selected as one of eight county collaboratives in AttainmentNC, a two-year statewide initiative led by myFutureNC to align education, workforce, and industry around regional talent needs. The Project Manager serves as the primary day-to-day leader and operational backbone for Forsyth County’s participation in AttainmentNC.

This role is responsible for coordinating cross-sector partners, managing the development and execution of the county’s Local Implementation Plan, and ensuring consistent progress toward shared goals in employer-led career pathways, engagement of untapped talent populations, career-connected learning, and long-term sustainability.

The Project Manager must function as a neutral convener and trusted intermediary among Forsyth County’s education, workforce, and employer leaders and must actively coordinate with staff leading related regional initiatives — including the Pathways Collaborative, Forsyth Works, and the Future Ready Workforce Alliance — to align efforts, avoid duplication, and strengthen shared outcomes across the county’s talent and workforce ecosystem.
