We are looking for a skilled Project Manager to work on an innovative research project that has been funded through the Horizon Europe Pathfinder scheme - BIOMEM. This interdisciplinary, intersectoral project looks to develop a “plug and play” bioinspired membrane system for applications as diverse as water treatment and blood dialysis. The project will be based in the new Aston Institute for Membrane Excellence (AIME), a ~£10 million investment from Research England.

The post holder will be responsible for providing programme management to the BIOMEM programme in consultation with academic staff, assisting the partners and researchers, maintaining the programme records and website, reporting to the EU, and providing general support to the Programme Coordinator.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience of managing complex projects, with a particular focus on those funded by the EU. They will have experience of reporting such projects with the HE sector and possess a proven ability to maintain high standards of work to tight deadlines.
