About the Role:

Curtin University is looking for an experienced and motivated Project Coordinator to join our team in a part-time (0.2 FTE) role until December 2026.

In this exciting position, you will enhance consumer engagement by working closely with consumer representatives and members of our reference group to incorporate their insights into our projects. The ideal candidate will apply suitable project management methodologies and systems to achieve the defined project outcomes.

In this role, you will, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive communication plan to enable effective dialogue among stakeholders.
  • Track tasks and progress across various groups to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Oversee project approvals and governance processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Support engagement activities, publication processes, research assistance, and training initiatives.
  • Maintain project momentum, meet milestones, and help achieve desired outcomes.
  • Selection Criteria

  • Qualifications: Completion of a relevant degree with substantial experience; or a combination of relevant work experience and/or education/training.
  • Project Management Skills: Proven ability to coordinate and implement project plans to achieve outcomes within resourcing constraints.
  • Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple, often competing tasks with attention to detail and within deadlines.
  • Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, respecting differences, leading and supporting others, and working toward common goals.
  • Decision-Making: Demonstrated effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Desirable

  • Project management certification.
  • Previous experience in a tertiary education environment and/or health services industry.
  • Role Requirements:

  • As this is a fixed-term contract, you will require current work rights in Australia that match the tenure of this role
