  • About This Opportunity

    As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for implementing and coordinating the Early Intervention Support Initiative. You will lead a project to identify students at risk of academic failure based on engagement and past performance data. The aim is to proactively identify and support these students through targeted intervention strategies. collaborates with faculties, administrators, and support staff to collect and analyse data, implement early warning systems, and establish communication channels. Interventions are carried out via email, phone, and in-person meetings.

    Key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement a framework to identify students at risk of academic failure, using data analytics and collaborating with faculty and support services.

  • Coordinate early warning systems and targeted intervention strategies to support at-risk students.

  • Evaluate program effectiveness and provide training on student support resources to staff and faculty.

  • Foster a collaborative and supportive environment to enhance overall student success.

  • About You

    Essential

  • Hold a relevant degree with at least 4 years of experience (or equivalent). Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, utilizing a data-driven approach.

  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders in education.

  • Show knowledge of educational systems, student development, and academic support services.

  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and demonstrate the ability to implement new technologies when needed. Maintain excellent time management skills with a focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines.

  • Knowledge of tertiary education business practices and issues related to the student experience within higher education nationally and internationally.
  • You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment and may be required to complete background checks including, criminal history and education checks.
