Job description

Supporting the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences: Psychology, Cedar

The Faculty wishes to recruit a Project Coordinator in support of developing, implementing, and coordinating Cedar and Cedar Create training and implementation activity. This part-time (0.8FTE) post is available from March 2024 on a fixed term basis until the 31st of December 2025 within Clinical Education Development and Research (Cedar) within Psychology.

About the role

Cedar is an applied psychological centre of excellence whose core mission is to grow and develop the psychological workforce, maximising impact through training and development, service transformation alongside research and evaluation. In doing so, we aim to ensure access to evidence based psychological practice that leads to positive outcomes for service-users, service providers and funders across England and beyond. Cedar's training activity and clinical impact is supported, developed, and advanced through Cedar Create, delivering concomitant consultation, research, evaluation, analytics and CPD activity resulting in significant benefits to the provision of psychological support.

The primary aim of the role is to provide events support, project co- ordination and effective partner communications relating to the activity of Cedar's Children and Young Peoples (CYP) psychological workforce clinical training portfolio and the Cedar Create CPD portfolio. The role will engage with individuals and partnership services within Cedar's Community of Practice (CoP) regionally, nationally, and internationally. You will work with the CYP Directors of Portfolio, Director of Cedar Create and Cedar Create Partnership and Innovation Manager to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of teaching and CPD programmes in accordance with Cedar's education strategy and the CYP Community of Practice (CoP) Terms of References.
