About this role
We are seeking a Project Coordinator and Data Analyst for a 12-month contract to support the University’s institutional planning and data function. This will have a particular focus on the implementation and rollout of the University’s Workload Allocation Model (WAM). Working closely with the HR team, the role supports the practical delivery of the WAM across the University, including preparation of guidance and training materials, coordination of implementation activity, user support, and the collection, entry, validation and aggregation of workload data. The postholder will also support testing, reporting and refinement of the model as it is embedded across academic areas.
Alongside this, the role provides analytical and reporting support across the Planning team, contributing to statutory and regulatory returns, student and institutional data analysis, forecasting and wider planning activity. The postholder helps ensure that workload, planning and performance decisions are supported by accurate, consistent and timely data.
About you
You will have an undergraduate degree or equivalent experience relevant to the role, a good understanding of data analysis and data quality and how this is used to support planning and decision making. Knowledge of workload allocation, workforce planning or resource planning in a higher education environment would be advantageous. You should have proven organisational and project coordination skills along with the ability to produce guidance, training material and reports for a range of audiences. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required to work with colleagues across the University and you will be required to take work forward with multiple stakeholders.
About the team
