The Gatsby Plant Science Education Programme (GPSEP) delivers a diverse and ambitious portfolio of UK wide online and in-person engagement activities to both inspire and nurture the next generation of plant scientists. GPSEP is administered through the collaborative environment at the Sainsbury Laboratory with our office situated in the beautiful Cambridge University Botanic Garden.
About the role
The Project and Communications Coordinator for Higher Education will organise and coordinate engagement activities with plant science for post-16 and undergraduate audiences. This varied and creative role would suit an experienced, detail orientated communications professional and event manager who takes pride in maintaining high standards. You will work closely with members of the GPSEP team and contractors to administer ambitious student engagement projects that aim to inspire the next generation of plant scientists. This post is full-time, fixed-term until 31st March 2026 in the first instance. The position is available immediately. Hybrid working is offered for this role with the successful candidate expected in the office a minimum of 3 days per week. It is anticipated that interviews will be held on the 6th or 7th February 2025.
