Programme Manager (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Admissions Office of the Registry (Ref.: 526900) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, and with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should have a good Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years' work experience, preferably in the education sector or in public relations-related fields. They should have an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese, the ability to work independently with initiative, good organisational and communication, skills as well as an outgoing personality.
The appointee will be responsible for working with schools, students, and the community (local, overseas or mainland market) to support the diversification of the University's undergraduate population. He/She will be involved in the recruitment of students by devising specific outreach strategies, liaising with key stakeholders, including other departments of the University and external organisations, and supporting and communicating with students throughout their application process. The appointee will also be responsible for the planning, implementation, administration and coordination of student programmes and events, and perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of the Office. He/She may be required to work outside office hours and on weekends, and to travel abroad.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
