    The ​ Monash University Prato Centre​ provides a strategic European base for international teaching and research collaborations. The Centre's mission is to develop a multi-functional teaching and research centre that is actively engaged with the local community, and which facilitates the expansion of links between Monash University and the wider European community.

    The Opportunity

    Join our team as a Program Manager at our dynamic and internationally-focused Prato Centre, where you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the realisation of the Centre's strategic objectives and operational management.

    As a Program Manager, you will oversee the seamless coordination and delivery of services for students, academics and professional staff within the Academic Programs, Student Services and Engagement, and Accommodation areas. This multifaceted role involves project leadership, reporting, business improvement, process development, performance measurement, resources management, and the implementation of communication strategies.

    Your leadership will be instrumental in guiding the Prato Centre team towards providing high-level and professional services for students, academics and professional staff, aligning with the Centre's priorities. As a key player in strategic planning, you will contribute to goal achievement within the programs area. Emphasising continuous improvement, you'll lead initiatives for business practices, operational processes, and service provision. processes, and the development of strong partnerships with other business units and key stakeholders.

    About you

    As the ideal candidate you will be bilingual in English and Italian, have existing working rights in Italy/Europe, as well as possess proven operational management and customer service expertise in the education sector.

    Your strong planning and organisational skills, demonstrated management experience in a complex structure, background in staff management and providing authoritative advice, and motivation for outstanding customer service will ensure your success in this position.

    In addition, critical to this role is your strong analytical and conceptual skills, interpersonal communication, negotiation, networking and consensus- building at senior multicultural levels.
