Are you a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with a passion for supporting the operational success of a dynamic program? We are seeking a dedicated Program Coordinator to join the prestigious Curtin School of Population Health. As a Program Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in providing operational support to the Head of School and School Leadership Team, ensuring the smooth delivery of our annual program of activities.

In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting internal and external communications and managing grants and contracts to drive the School of Population Health forward as well as coordinating research and analysing financial resources.

In this role, you will (but are not limited to):

  • Be responsible for supporting program delivery and operations.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure program outcomes are meeting their requirements.
  • Monitor and evaluate program performance and provide reports to the line manager.
  • Monitor program budget and provide advice to the line manager.
  • May provide leadership and guidance to staff through effective talent management and development.
  • Write and prepare project reports and related documentation.
  • Undertake other activities which the incumbent might reasonably be expected to do, and which are consistent with the accountabilities and responsibilities as listed above.

    Selection Criteria

  • Completion of a combination of a degree with subsequent relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant work experience and/or education/training.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to coordinate and implement program activities.
  • Demonstrated high-level interpersonal and oral communication skills with the ability to consult and liaise effectively with a diverse range of people and with cross-cultural sensitivity.
  • Demonstrated high-level written communication skills with the ability to construct clear and concise reports and other relevant documentation.
  • Proven ability to work well in a team, including respecting differences, leading and supporting others, accepting direction, and working to group goals.
  • Area Specific Criteria

  • Sound research, conceptual and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, content management systems and social media platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

  • Experience working in a large tertiary education environment.
  • Experience with human resources functions and financial management
