The Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering at the University of Bath is seeking to appoint an established Professor (0.5FTE) with a focus on the strategic development and delivery of our Computer Systems Engineering programmes and new joint programmes in related areas.
We are looking for an outstanding leader and academic to enhance our research and teaching, join an expanding and ambitious department, and to shape the technology of the future in a vibrant and inclusive environment.
The Department delivers undergraduate and postgraduate courses and specialises in electronic and electrical engineering research. Our teaching is research- led and driven by the wider needs of industry, ensuring great graduate career opportunities.
This is an open-ended position, working 18.25 hours per week.
About youYou will have a track record in the development of new courses as well as experience of research and teaching, with an established research portfolio. In particular, you will have experience in Computer Systems Engineering or Robotics Engineering.
You will hold a PhD and an undergraduate degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering or a very closely related subject. Through your research and teaching, you will be passionate about addressing the global challenges and educating the next generation of electronic and electrical engineers.
