The School is seeking an outstanding candidate with expertise in the area of new media, data science, and emerging digital technology, preferably with a focus on business development and digital transformation, to join the expanding faculty team. The appointee is expected to contribute to teaching the School's undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

Applicants should have (i) a Master or PhD degree in Communication or other related fields; (ii) a strong commitment to excellence in teaching; and (iii) professional recognition and rich experience (10 years or longer) in the industry.

Duties include (a) teaching courses with industry-specific content relevant to his/her expertise; (b) securing internship places, providing training and workshops for students; (c) engaging students in reputable competitions; (d) coordinating learning activities including study tours and industry collaborations; (e) serving as an academic advisor; and (f) other administrative duties.

Appointment will normally be made on contract basis for two to three years initially commencing August 2024, renewable subject to mutual agreement. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered.
