The Nethersole School of Nursing, formerly the Department of Nursing, was established in the Faculty of Medicine in 1991. The School is committed to excellence in teaching, research and in the promotion of the highest standards of nursing practice. Applicants should have (i) a Master's degree in Nursing or related disciplines; (ii) professional registration, if applicable (i.e. valid practising certificate of a registered nurse (general) in Hong Kong); (iii) at least 5 years' relevant full-time post-registration experience or relevant full-time professional experience in the field of the specialized area; (iv) at least 3 years' relevant full-time post-Master's experience; (v) excellent communication skills; and (vi) a strong commitment to teaching, preferably with teaching experience in relevant disciplines.
Duties include (a) coordinating and teaching theoretical and clinical/practicum courses; (b) providing training for seminars and workshops; (c) coordinating learning activities including placements, overseas study tours and industry collaborations; and (d) performing other duties as assigned by the Director or his delegates.
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for two years, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
