Priestley Centre for Climate Futures Communication Officer Are you an experienced communicator , able to develop and drive

engaging campaigns across a range of channels?Can you work both independently and with colleagues from a range of backgrounds to provide efficient communication support? Do you want to be part of an international Centre that is driving climate action on the ground?

The Priestley Centre for Climate Futures harnesses world-leading expertise in climate research, innovation and education to shape a better future for our communities, our region and the world. The Centre is currently in an exciting phase of expansion, and we are growing our team so that we can deliver on our growing ambition.

We are looking for a talented and highly motivated Communications Officer to join the Priestley Centre at the University of Leeds to join a dynamic team of climate-focused professional services staff to support the Centre's communication activities as it relaunches. You will play a key role in delivering the mission of the Priestley Centre, working with the Communication and Engagement Manager and wider team to implement the Centre's communication and engagement plan. Working closely with world leading experts, you will identify key messages from complex information and communicate about cutting edge research, innovation, policy, and education.

You will be responsible for the Priestley Centre's digital communication channels, including the website and social media, developing engaging content and campaigns to grow the profile of the Centre both within the University and externally. With other members of the team, you will also design and deliver a events for a range of audiences.
