    Postdoctoral Scholar Series

    The Department of Neurology at the University of California, Irvine, anticipates openings for Postdoctoral Scholars in the following fields: General Neurology, Alzheimer's Disease and other Dementias, Epilepsy, Movement Disorders, Multiple Sclerosis, Cognitive Neurology, Neuroepidemiology, Neuromuscular Disease, Neuro-Oncology, Neuropsychology, Quantitative Brain Imaging, Pain Management, Sleep, Experimental Therapeutics, Biomarkers and Precision Medicine, and Stroke.

    Requirements: Candidates must hold a doctoral degree or equivalent by the start of the appointment and have a strong background in Neurology / Neuroscience or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates who have recently obtained their doctoral degree.

    Additional Information: Postdoctoral Scholars will conduct research under the general oversight of a faculty mentor and are expected to contribute to the academic community by enhancing the research and education programs of the University. Positions are dependent upon extramural funding and require a minimum appointment of one year. Rank and salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience. Initial appointments are for two years, and renewal is based on availability of support.
