The role
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the design and roll-out of the first national survey of English folklore since 1964. You will be working with England's leading experts in folklore on this UKRI Arts & Humanities Council-funded 2 year project that aims to capture a snapshot of beliefs and traditions in the 21st century.

The team
You will be working with the Project Lead, Dr David Clarke, a leading authority on modern legends who is Associate Professor in the new Sheffield Cultural Industries Institute (SCII) and with Co-Lead Dr Diane Rodgers, who is an expert in folklore in film and TV, biographies.
David and Diane are co-founders of the Centre for Contemporary Legend research group in SCII and have a high profile in the national and international folklore movement.
