The focus of the RRC's work is with children and youth living in challenging contexts across culturally diverse settings around the world. For this position, experience with studying child, youth, family and/or community resilience and/or experience analysing social policy related to youth/family resilience is preferred though related types of research experience will also be considered.

This position is ideal for postdocs and early career scholars seeking to gain experience doing original research, publishing, developing funding applications, managing research projects and mobilizing knowledge. The holder of this postdoctoral fellowship will be asked to assist with a study of resilience, policy, social development, and potentially other studies with youth from diverse backgrounds, both in Canada and internationally. At a minimum, applicants should be familiar with designing research methods related to psychological and social processes and analyzing qualitative and/or quantitative data and/or conducting policy reviews related to youth and family resilience/wellbeing. Proficiency in English is required. Applicants can be from any discipline, though familiarity with psychological, political, and social factors affecting children, youth and families and prior interest in the study of resilience or related concepts is preferred.

The RRC is an international group of scholars, practitioners, and policymakers from more than 20 countries who together collaborate on research and knowledge mobilization projects.
