Description

This postdoc position is for a specialist in the fabrication of silicon heterojunction solar cells to be integrated into monolithic silicon perovskite tandem solar cells.

For this position, we are looking for someone with proven experience in semiconductor device fabrication and characterization.

Responsibilities

Development and optimization of silicon heterojunction solar cells at different levels.

  • Developing bottom cells at different scales (from 1 by 1 cm2 to 6 by 6 incb) utilizing the PECVD-PVD cluster.
  • Performing device characterization, and modeling aimed at champion PCEs.
  • Manage project tasks towards successful completion.
  • Dissemination of the research outputs in project meetings, peer-reviewed journals, and international conferences.
  • Writing regular reports for the project outputs

    Qualifications

    Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in fields related to electrical engineering, materials science, physics, and applied physics, with a thorough understanding of semiconductor devices. Desirable backgrounds/skills include; i) silicon or perovskite solar cell device fabrication and characterization; ii) semiconductor processing; iii) optoelectronic engineering.

    Applicants should have a strong publication record, good spoken and written communication skills.
